Welcome to Ar-Rahman Sunday Madrasah homepage!!

Here, you will find out all you need to know about the madrasah In Sha Allah. 

Founded by the Assalaatur Rahman Mosque in 2001, the madrasah is committed to teaching the Arabic language and providing Islamic education to children of the Muslim community. The madrasah is dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth and developing God consciousness through the teachings of Islam and the Qur’an.

 

 Our Vision

 

The madrasah aims to develop, for its students, self-assurance as British Nigerian Muslims with a commitment to honoring family, community involvement, and respecting others. The madrasa strives to instill ethical values in the students towards becoming productive and responsible members of our society.

 

 Our Goals

 

Developing a British Nigerian Muslim Identity;

Developing an association between the students and the Ar-Rahman mosque.

To provide basic knowledge of the five pillars of Islam;

Teaching students the Arabic language as a means of understanding the Quran;

Guiding students to use Qur’anic principles and moral strength in their daily lives;

Developing God consciousness and using prophetic examples as a model to be emulated throughout life;

Fostering responsibility to God, society, and the environment.

Just a quick reminder of the madrasah's Goldern Rules :

No mobile phones in the madrasah 

No eating during lessons

No shouting

Raise your hand to ask/ answer a question

Listen to the teacher at all times

Try your best

Be on time as doors close at 11am! 

 

Another reminder, about uniforms ...

Girls should be wearing abaya (jalabiyya) and a hijab or scarf to cover their head all the time. It should be big enough to not slip off with slight movement.

Boys should be wearing long kaftan and hats. 

This dress code will be strictly followed. To avoid disciplinary action for your children please ensure that your children follow these guidelines irrespective of age.



WELCOME TO THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR 2019/20 !!!



THE MADRASAH WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING RECONSTRUCTION FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR THEREFORE THE CONTENT WILL BE CHANGING FROM TIME TO TIME OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS. THIS SHOULD BE FULLY READY BY SUNDAY 28TH JULY IN SHA ALLAH.



REGISTRATION HAS NOW BEGAN FOR THIS ACADEMIC TERM. 


 PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD TO PRACTICE READING THEIR QAIDAH/QURAN ON DAILY BASIS !!!
